What is Noodle Fest?  Noodle Fest is a blast! It's where talented chefs battle it out to create the yummiest noodle dishes. This event is a crowd-pleaser, open to everyone (need to apply as we have limited competitor spots). 

As an attendee, each dish offered by the chefs is available at $6 or less. Also, you're not just a noodle consumer; you're a judge, too! Each dish purchase earns you a voting token, giving you the power to crown the ultimate noodle champ.

But that's not all - we've got a buffet of entertainment for all ages! Kids can belt their hearts out with karaoke, and our Amazing DJs, including the 10-year-old sensation DJ RedD and the incredible DJ Kohei, will keep the good vibes going strong. For an extra helping of fun, come dressed as your favorite noodle dish. Our Executive Director plans to dress up as a bowl of ramen!

Congratulations to Angel's Thai Cafe, the Noodle Fest Champ 2023! Their winning noodle dish is Kapoon, a delicious red curry noodle made with chicken stock, minced chicken, and topped with cilantro and cabbage.

In second place is Thai Street Noodles (a pop-up shop) with their pork broth Pink Noodles (Yen Ta Fu), and in third place is Monsoon Vietnamese Cuisine with their Bún Bò Huế (spicy noodle soup) - a rich broth that blends pork and beef and originates from Huế, the central region of Vietnam known for its spicy cuisine.

On March 4th, 2023, Noodle Fest occurred at Calder Plaza and drew an estimated 7,000 attendees. Eleven vendors participated in the competition to be crowned the best noodle dish of 2023, with each dish priced at $6.

In addition to the food, the event offered a range of entertainment, including karaoke, live music from a band, and DJs. Noodle Fest was an entertaining event with something for the whole family.

Also, we added a spicy noodle challenge this year, and Joreine crushed his competition.
