Are you interested in joining our board or ?
Board Requirements:
Must serve as a volunteer for a minimum of one year - This is the best way for our new board members to understand our work.
Be present and active at most of our events - However, you must be present and volunteer at the summer Asian-Pacific Festival.
Support and share our social media posts
Support our business partners and sponsors - Our partners and sponsors help fund our organization.
Understand that this is community work and that the community comes first.
Help and support volunteers, team members, and the board of directors.
Must participate in our fundraising efforts and strive to reach their own fundraising goal.
Must participate and attend most meetings - We understand life happens, and excusable absences are acceptable. However, the board can vote for dismissal for non-participation.
New board candidates: The existing board will hold a special vote to accept or decline a board candidate.
